After almost twenty years of being on Meetup (2008 - 2026) we have made the difficult decision to sever our ties with the Meetup application. Since it was acquired by WeWorks in 2017, the new owners have made numerous changes to their site and policies that have changed it from the welcoming, useful home it once was into a clunky, expensive, money pit. It sank to the bottom of our engagement metrics, where it sat for years while also representing a good chunk of our overhead.

We attempted to work with them to reduce the scope and size of the group so we could reduce the overhead while still retaining a small foothold on the site, but Meetup really doesn't have options that fit our mission. So the Meetup site has been removed. If you used Meetup, I encourage you to move to Discord or Facebook for community discussions, and you can continue to use this site for Event announcements or to see our Shared Event Calendar.
